User availability settings bug fixed on Raspisanka service

May 8, 2018

Raspisanka team fixed an error in user availability settings. The availability period was placed on the next day when settings were saved under certain conditions. This happened due to the fact that availability settings were tied to a user’s time zone.

For example, a user set his unavailable time from 12 AM to 8 AM. In case a user had a time zone from +1 to +18, the created period didn’t save properly and was carried to the next day. In order to save the settings, a user had to extend unavailable time to 8:15 or 8:30. This situation happened with all availability settings that started at 12 AM. Now availability settings are properly saved, regardless of a user’s time zone.

Raspisanka developers also fixed an error that occurred when a schedule creator wanted to manually create an additional shift for an employee assigned to the schedule.

The error message appeared whenever a user tried to edit any field in shift settings. These include shift date, working hours and workers who will be assigned to it. Same thing happened when a schedule creator tried to make a “Freeboard” shift.

Moreover, it took some time for the system to process updated information when editing schedule settings. Raspisanka team made the process faster.
